    Mulitfunction machines do not have negative scanner capabilities because the scanner is sheetfeed. You are better off getting a dedicated flatbed scanner with an integrated negative scanner. I have an HP scanner with a negative and slide scanner, but I don’t remember the model number right off hand. Got it for about $80 at Office Depot on sale.
    I also have a multifunction machine at home that my parents bought…HP OfficeJet 600…copy, scan, fax, print. We had it for about a year and then all prints came out smudged, even with new cartridges so we stopped using it. The machine was kind of pricey at $350 for it to break down after a year of service.
