yes, but fairly expensive to print, due to the high cost of refill cartridges for the printer.

A photo printer is simply a printer with a photo printing capabilities. So yes. your printer will work jsut fine for printing standard documents.

Yes it will print documents, and congratulations on the new Canon Pixma you bought a nice printer I would be thinking of refilling the cartridges yourself it is cheaper and on that printer it’s easy, good luck with the Canon.
