Well, the ink could be all dried up over the openings. …if that makes sense. So, the ink is plugged inside the cartridge.
If it can be fixed you can try and run a few tests, and it might help. If the situation doesn’t improve then I suggest taking it to a printer or computer repair store. Maybe the Geek Squad at Best Buy could help you out.

You are probably out of ink. Most printers that they are making now have 6 ink wells and if just 1 Ink well runs out the printer will not work, it will stop. So check your Ink wells. Check all Ink. This happen to me yesterday and I were wondering what in the world just happen, and thats when I realize that I were out of yellow Ink even though there were ink in the other colors even the black ink were almost full . My printer will not work until I put in a new yellow Ink.. So please check all of your Ink. Good Luck
