Brittany L asked:
I just bought a new all-in-one printer, scanner and copier. It’s an HP Deskjet F2110. However, I put a 74 ink cartridge in it and it’s stuck and won’t come out. Obviously it’s the wrong one, since the printer does not recognize it (yeah, stupid, I know, but Wal-Mart had them sitting in the same display with the printers; I though it was the one that went with it). So, how do I get it out? I’ve tried everything! Even prying it out with butter knives! Any suggestions?

See if you can reach a finger under it and pop it out that way.

If you installed the wrong Ink Cartridge then thats your problem.

The last thing you want to do is try and rip it out and ruin the printer or even snap the plastic holster that holds the ink cartridge. Try to wiggle and tug while pushing upwards to ensure no damage to be done, if you cannot remove it its hard to tell you what to do. If it was the right cartridge you can send it of to HP to get a new/repaired machine, but its the wrong one so I doubt they will give support. Just don’t give up just wiggle and pull upwards and good luck to you.

Spray WD-40 on it!

Do NOT force it, any damage you do will invalidate your warranty. Contact hp, they are normally very helpful.

Try from under neat, take the cover off (screws), if that don’t work take back to the store, you still have the warranty and good luck and next time buy the right cartridge.
