What is the best at home color printer to buy? How do I change the language of my Canon GP225 Photocopier from French to English?

photographyphreakgirl asked:

I scanned a bunch of pictures using a Lexmark 8300 all-in-one scanner/copier/printer/fax from some books and I got yellow lines on the scans. Is there anything I can do with the pictures in Photoshop Elements to get rid of the yellow lines?

  1. Spacecat Says:

This mostly happens when your color ink cartridge is getting too low on ink.
And I know of no way to fix the photo once this happens.

  2. Blessèd™ Says:

The yellow lines are a result of either imperfections in your scanning optics (mirror, lens, or chips) or the glass platen of your scanbed…not ink.

You can use the “clone tool” to clone (or copy) unaffected regions of the image over (on top of) the yellow lines.
